Friday night I went out with the lesbian pimpmaster. We had thai, had some drinks, and she got hit on by an incredibly oblivious straight man. We tried hints, but they did not work so when he asked me for a tip in exchange for a drink I told him, "If you want to get laid you should probably stop hitting on gay girls." His reaction was priceless.

Then at 1am we left the blues club we were at to go back to my place and have sex. Or at least that was the plan. We waited on the el platform FOREVER. We were then notified that someone had jumped on the tracks and service was suspended. So then we made our way over to the Clark bus and waited FOREVER. It finally comes and it's completely packed. We get on and ride and finally get to our stop which we then have to walk like 7 blocks to get to my place. By the time we got home it was 4am. It took 3 hours to get home!! So basically by the time we did get home we were both so exhausted that sex just wasn't gonna happen.

Ugh! Family can be so damn frustrating.

So the thing about my dad's side of the family is that almost all of the females were born in August. So every few years we all get together in August. This year happens to be the year we're getting together and of course because my birthday happens to land on a Saturday this year, we're doing it on my birthday. I agreed thinking it would be at or near my grandparent's place in River Forest, which isn't wonderfully convenient, but not too bad of a trek. It is not, in fact, in River Forest.

I went to the link of the restaurant my dad sent me via email. It's in Long Grove. Ok see I grew up in the north burbs of Chicago and I'd never even heard of Long Grove before. I looked it up and it's near Vernon Hills. How the fuck am I supposed to get all the way out there without a car!?!? So I rta it and I'm told it's impossible. I look into the metra to see if I can get close and then have someone pick me up. The best I could do would be to take the train into Palatine, which would take 2 hours coming from my place. Then my dad, who lives in Palatine, could pick me up and we could head over to the restaurant, which from the looks of it could very well be a 45 minute drive. So we're basically talking a 5-5.5 hour roundtrip ON MY BIRTHDAY!!! Hey, did anyone think that maybe I might want to do something with my friends and that even if you guys do end relatively early that I might be TOO DAMN TIRED after a 5.5 hour roundtrip commute!?!?

Ok its too difficult for me to come up with new things for each blog I have so I'm just going to copy and paste from my livejournal since that's what I update the most. Now lets just hope I can remember to keep doing this
